How did we get here?
Well, one day back in 2004, back when my job gave me lots of free time and I was a mom to one ANGELIC little princess- I began to think. (scary, I know.) I looked back on my life and saw that over the years I had lost a bit of who I was and the things that I had once valued. Somewhere in the midst of growing up, getting married, building a family, working in the ministry, I had lost sight of who I was aside from all of the hats I wore. Included in this was writing. I had always loved to write- filled up journals with my thoughts and feelings and yes, sometimes poetry. Now, I’m NOT saying I’m good, or profound, or even grammatically correct- I just love to do it.
In an effort to uncover what was lost and discover what I would soon grow to love, I had to write again. Now six years later, I’m still doing it. It has helped me in so many ways.
Why on the world wide web? Why does the whole world have to be subject to my thoughts?
The cool thing is that its also a way for me to find out about you- your thoughts, your opinions- and to stay connected. I don’t write just to update everyone on my life, I write when I have something to say. I write because I love it. I write because its fun. When it stops being fun, I won’t do it anymore.
